Coolmore at the Curragh

Speciosa in 2006 was the last time the winner of this trial went on to land the 1000 Guineas. Nathra at 7/4 (Paddy Power) progressed nicely with each outing last term, building on her debut victory in a Salisbury maiden when scoring easily over the same trip at Newbury and then running a fine race in defeat when second to Minding here in Group 1 company in September (with Coolmore back in fourth). She bids to give Frankie his third straight win in this. Coolmore at 6/1 (Bet365) has no qualms about taking her on again in this with this Group 3 winner partnered by Ryan Moore for the first time. One imagines the winner will come from these two. That said the unbeaten First Victory won the Oh So Sharp here in October and the Godolphin filly should be considered having won a maiden as she liked over course and distance on her debut.
