Has easily best form line
Bombshell must be hard to beat in this poor race after finishing third at Dundalk recently behind horses rated 85 and 91 and Joseph O’Brien has won on the all-weather with three of only four horses (75%) he’s sent over from Ireland so far this year. Has improved her RPR with each of her three runs at Dundalk this winter. We are reminded this filly cost 135,000gns as a yearling then €575,000 as a 2yo and now she contests a lowly Class 5 Novice at Lingfield. Looks like the first priority is to get a win from this No Nay Never filly.
Of her rivals
Sweet Talked is a likely improver and preferred to Rocketeer of the others with race experience whilst main danger Ice Ice Lady is the first foal of a winning sprinter from a speedy family and makes more appeal than fellow newcomer Pop The Confetti.
A desperate affair in which BOMBSHELL should have little trouble opening his account unless cheap-purchase Ice Ice Lady proves to be well forward starting out for a top yard. The remainder make little appeal.
This trip looks all about getting a job done and Joseph O'Brien has not sent her over to run well and get beat. The booking of Ben Curtis seals it!
