Dave Pulham has completed his first month proofing his system with The Racing Horse and what a month it has been! We take this opportunity to congratulate and thank him for the handsome profits he has given us! Both the strike rate and profit has exceeded our expectations!

Dave has asked us to post the following comments to all our members:

Firstly, thank you to you all for asking to receive these selections. It is always a little difficult when you're starting out, never sure whether you're supplying the information as people like to receive it. Saying that, if anyone has any thoughts on how the info is sent out, then just drop me an email with your thoughts. 

June is finished, time for a round-up to see how we are sitting and anything going forward. 

Have be totally honest I'm extremely pleased with how TWA has panned out this month. Calms the nerves a bit when you have a good start, just hurts a bit more when you have a bad one, which I'm afraid is inevitable. Anyway, on with the important stuff...

• 60% strike rate with 10.20 points profit thrown in for good measure
• A couple of nice groupings of winners just separated by the odd losing bet
• Within the losing bets we've had 5 second places, 3 of those have been nutted in the final strides
• I'm sure the majority of punters would be happy with 100 points profit for a punting year. A 10 point start puts us in that ballpark.

The Winning Angle is a system-based approach along the lines of the Pareto Principle with 10 interesting points of reference:

• The selections will mainly be at the front end of the market.
• The system has been profitable over the past 5 years at least, at both ISP and BSP (2% com) whilst showing no signs of fatigue.
• Selections will be available between 7 to 8am on the morning of racing.
• The majority of selections will be 1pt win bet, with occasional 1.5 and 2pt bets.
• My staking approach is ½pt at BOG with the other ½pt at BSP (2% com), this covers me when the selection either shortens or drifts.
• My reasoning for this is that very rarely ISP will beat BSP, but BOG will beat ISP the majority of the time
• I paper traded from January 2023 until the end of August 2023 then went live from September 2023.
• Longest winning sequence is 10
• Longest losing sequence is 8
• Figures since September 2023 show 390 selections, 208 winners for a 53.33% strike rate and 54.39pts profit and 13.95 R.O.I
