The Racing Horse has long been following the William Hill Naps Table whilst listening to the William Hill Radio show, to witness the quality of betting advice their experienced and knowledgeable team provide. Remember, the tips represent individual naps so the best bets of the day!
Consequently, we measure their advice against the service we provide for our members for 33p per day - this price has been held for over 14 years.
The results show the name of the pundit and his/her monthly profit/loss and their seasonal profit/loss. There 22 pundits involved and we note 3 are in profit, 1 is breaking even and the other 18 are losing, some heavily. Ouch!
Name Month Season Ken Pitterson -2.93 +17.96 Alistair Jones -9.99 +16.54 Tom Humphries -0.62 +13.69 Darren Owen -1.24 +0.13 Andrew Thornton +0.71 -3.53 Dani Jackson -2.93 -11.13 Paddy Aspell -1.00 -11.39 Alex Dunn -11.65 -13.51 Craig Forsyth +11.17 -15.11 Luke Elder +8.03 -17.09 Stuart Redding -14.79 -19.52 Dale Gibson -7.00 -20.45 Ian Cruddas -11.50 -23.07 Leonna Mayor +6.25 -29.85 Sam Juckes +4.53 -30.37 Fromthestables.com -3.26 -31.06 Andy Holding -5.51 -35.28 ← Ross Brierley +6.13 -40.61 Jonathan Kay -13.75 -42.04 Gary Capewell -10.13 -49.24 Pete Farries +6.25 -60.11 Ian Brindle -7.25 -64.12
There are some big names on the list above including Andy Holding who is losing -5.51pts this month and a big -35.28 for the season.
The losses are huge and confirm those national statistics saying 98% of those who bet long term lose. The William Hill pundits show an 82% loss and there are some good racing people listed.
Context, relevance and pertinence, just saying...
