Charlie Appleby (30%) scores 32% at Kempton and if we are not backing his runners at this course, we do not oppose them! This current year he scores 6-15 for 40% (+3.87) at Kempton. Tomorrow he runs the 2yo Lope De Vega colt BECKFORD'S FOLLY 3.10 to be ridden by Oisin Murphy. The colt was hooded and ran green throughout on debut over 6f at Lingfield in June 2025 and showed the benefit of that experience, gaining a pair of Class 4 Novice wins on Newmarket's July Course, minus the headgear. He does not set the standard in this Group 3 but is the one to beat. What price is perceived value, I hear you ask? William Hill open with 11/4 (07.02am) to small money, if we could secure 7/2 then he looks an each way to nothing wager!

UPDATE 08.08: TRH has decided to wager 1pt win Beckford's Folly at 11/4 (general bpg) and ¼pt stake saver plus on Five Ways at 4/1 (general bpg) on the basis these two will improve past the other runners!
