  • MISTERDOC (D Skelton) formerly with M Seror. Promising hurdle debut 2nd beaten just a length, short break since. Bred to be decent over hurdles, Harry Skelton rides and 42% on hurdling favourites

  • FRENCH EMPEROR (N Martin) beaten favourite last time out. Trainer +£208.06 when one runner on the card (hurdles), James Bowen rides
  • GRENADIER JED (R Walford) beaten favourite last time out. Was unbeaten in 3 handicaps before falling at Plumpton 57 days ago, still ahead of the assessor. Harry Kimber rides
  • HIGH TEA (Bailey & Nicholls) C&D winner, beaten favourite last time out. Beginning to hit top gear when falling at Ludlow last time, promise of more to come. Should go close and the one to beat, Tom Bellamy rides (39% on hurdling favourites)

2.37: Kingsbridge Mortgage "Chasing Excellence" Novices' Chase (Class 3) 2m

  • Winning favourites 46%
  • JUBY BALL (E Williams) course winner, beaten favourite last time out. Useful bumper/dual hurdles scorer, and looked set to stretch his unbeaten record over jumps prior to falling 3 out in handicap at Ffos Las, remains a useful prospect. James Bowen rides
  • STENCIL (George & Zetterholm) shaped with promise without being seen to best advantage when chasing home a subsequent winner at Ascot 39 days ago, rating the type to progress. Jonathan Burke rides

  • CHARISMA CAT (A King) beaten favourite last time out, Tom Bellamy rides
  • TRINITY STREET (H Daly) beaten favourite last time out, Sam Twiston-Davies rides
  • CLONDAW PARK (H Derham) Bought for £320,000 after winning sole Irish points and is from the family of top-class hurdler Nichols Canyon. In process of making an encouraging start over timber when unseating rider 3  at Newbury in November. Could be anything, Paul O'Brien rides

  • Winning favourites 33%
  • DANGEROUS TOUCH (O Murphy) beaten favourite last time out, Sean Bowen rides
  • THE BIG REVEAL (G Harris) beaten favourite last time out, Harry Reed rides
  • GENETOILE (RCurtis) Point winner, showed fair form over hurdles in 2023/24 without winning. Encouraging start in this sphere following a 22-month absence when 3 of 9 at Chepstow. Tongue strap back on and remains open to improvement. Toby McCain Mitchell (5) rides
  • STAR OF DIAMOND (E Lavelle) Irish point winner. Proving expensive to follow, but stepped up on chase/handicap debut when 3rd at Warwick 47 days ago. Place chance. Ben Jones rides and 20% at the course

4.22: Fitzdares Bumper National Hunt Flat Race (Class 4) 2m

  • Winning favourites 38%
  • JUSTALARGEWHISKY (S Thomas) Quality yard for top owners at the course. Trainer 25% in 2m to 2m1f bumpers, Dylan Johnson rides
  • BIG JOHN OLLIE (D Skelton) €55,000 Poet's Word gelding, probably a budding stayer but definite encouragement to glean from his debut third (behind Barrow Hill Lad) in a Ffos Las bumper (15.8f) in October, keeping on well to take that place dying strides. In top hands and better to come. Harry Atkins (7) rides
  • BARROW HILL LAD (B Clarke) Getaway gelding who scored impressively on his debut in 9-runner bumper at Ffos Las in October. Toby Mitchell-Cain (5) rides
