It is always worth checking out the statistics of Sir Mark Prescott's runners in a general sense but especially over various distances with his 3yos. Check these figures out over the last five seasons:

5-6f:  8-33 for 24%  (+9.12)
7f-1m:  19-126 for 15%  (-40.38)
9f-10f:  29-135 for 21%  (-30.26)
11f-12f:  32-135 for 24%  (-6.45)
13f+:  59-143 for 41%  (+34.95)

So how is the trainer doing for 2015 so far?

7f-1m:  6-19 for 32%  (+12.23)
9f-10f:  3-17 for 18%  (-3.59)
11f-12f:  2-11 for 18%  (-4.50)
13f+:  4-14 for 29%  (-6.26)

The Racing Horse suggestion is that the trainer is massively under-achieving with his 3yos racing over 13f+ this year and could this be a micro-system for the remaining part of 2015? We will keep our members posted of developments from today to a £1 level stake. Given the Prescott modus operandi and as long as his horses stay fit and well it is almost certain he will return a profit.

Tomorrow the trainer runs the unexposed qualifier Amour De Nuit and is available at 11/4 with most bookmakers. After his first start over two miles in July his jockey Luke Morris told us: "My plan was to jump and bowl along on Amour De Nuit but they came and took it off me so I was happy to get a lead. My fella stuck on well and ground it out. I could see the one in front pulling up so wanted to challenge away from him. My horse has improved for 2m and will make a lovely jumper one day."
