 Certain to improve from debut

Rosa Applause (Foaled 21 April) is a Blue Point filly and her dam won twice at 7f as a 2yo. She looks a promising sort and was 3rd of 11 in a Newcastle Maiden over 6f when backed at 3/1 and fared best of the newcomers. She is certain to improve and her RPR of 88 will take some beating in this Wolverhampton Class 5 Fillies' Novice.

Trainer Form

Team Crisford have a big national average of 20% and are in fantastic form with 6 of their last 16 runners winning at 38% over the past 14 days. The 2yos have won 13-74 for 18% this year, they score 21% at the course and combine 20% with jockey Jack Mitchell, so all boxes ticked.

Contender

Disclosure is another promising individual and a half-sister to two winners and looks the main danger. She was 4th of 10 at Newcastle over 6f on debut 13 days ago and there is more to come from her, though has stall 8 to contend with.

 Timeform View

ROSA APPLAUSE made a bright start for her in-form yard at Newcastle 3 weeks ago and is sure to go close if building on that as expected. Newcomer See You Tonight is very interesting, while Disclosure is also a big player after a promising debut.

Perceived value

The 8/11 looks north of perceived value.

Rosa Applause traded at a low of 2.50 and Betfair SP of 4.71 when losing last time, a race in which it raced towards the rear.
