(?): National Average E: Entries R: Rides
  • FAVOURITES: Despite the amount of poor racing at this track winning favourites perform significantly above the national average. Over the past 5 years results show 1,026-2,902 for 35.35% though a big loss of -189.15 to level stakes. Best category are 4yos+ in non-handicaps who show 87-194 for 45% (-1.42) so possible to make a profit with good housekeeping. Worst category are 4yos+ in handicaps scoring at just 30% and below the national average.
  • TRAINERS: The fact David Evans, Michael Appleby and Tony Carroll occupy 3 of the top 5 places on our leader board confirms the general quality of racing at Wolverhampton. This only increases the value of our Racecourse Templates because the general public will be blissfully unaware of our figures, which are hardcore, factual and relevant! The three mentioned only have 2 runners between them for this fixture but their runners here are always worth a look.
  • LEADING TRAINERS: Mark Johnston has 3 entries and Clive Cox and there looks to be 2 winners in waiting from this grouping.
  • JOCKEYS: Hollie Doyle and Adam Kirby will be looking for a win doubles though Hollie is the more likely to succeed. David Probert is riding well and with 5 rides he could score also.
  • COLD LISTS: None of the trainers or jockeys on the cold lists catch our eye
  • OWNERS: Godolphin score at 6% above their national average at this course at a strike rate of 30%. They have no runners today
  • DID YOU KNOW: William Haggas is 41% at the course this year, shows 49-147 for 33% (+4.69) at Wolverhampton over the past 5 years. He runs RESUMPTION 3.20, also runs our Pacafi at Newcastle - win double?

JASON WEAVER on WOLVERHAMPTON

Wolverhampton’s 5f, 7f and extended 1m starts can be tricky from a jockey’s point of view, because they’re very much draw-dependent. It’s a big advantage being among the low, left-hand numbers. The 1m 4f start can also be a slight problem, but at least from there you’ve got a longer trip to get sorted out. Nobody went round the inside in the early days and, while I’m not sure it’s a disadvantage to be there now, most jocks still shy away from that rail. It’s a tight course, but well laid-out and very fair.

      Tommy

Many thanks for your comments and interest.

We genuinely believe the templates and the strategy give members the BASE & EDGE to help make their own betting pay/profitable. It definitely provides a betting landscape of an individual racecourse and we know each of them are very different!

It is unbelievable that the Saturday Racecourse Template was smashed, and not one On Course Profits reader (who was offered the information FREE) made a comment! If you remember the advice/pertinence included 2 WINNERS at 22/1 (33/1 available on both), ANOTHER at 4/1, a nice little FORECAST and MUCH MORE from the 8-race card! The Saturday before produced something similar.

It produces pertinence, mathematics, facts and virtually 0% personal opinion, so if you believe (like we do) that mathematics are the governing force of horse racing betting, we have it here! It really does give each meeting a betting landscape overview!

Thanks again for your support, we look forward to Kempton on Wednesday and then Cheltenham on Friday (racing Friday, Saturday & Sunday at the course). Worth pointing out the templates work best when decent field sizes and the reason we have not provided too many National Hunt Templates.

Tommy, you have not seen our work at a Festival Meeting yet, it is something to look forward too!

      Paul
